Penélope Cruz Sánchez (born April 28, 1974), better known as Penélope Cruz, is a Spanish actress. She gathered critical acclaim as a young actress for films such as Jamón, Jamón, La Niña de tus ojos, and Belle époque. She has also starred in several American films such as Blow, Vanilla Sky, and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She is perhaps best known for her work with acclaimed Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, in Broken Embraces, Volver and All About My Mother.

Cruz has been awarded three Goyas, two European Film Awards, and the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2009, she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Goya, and a BAFTA for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She is Spain's first female Oscar winner and also becomes the sixth Hispanic person to win an Oscar after José Ferrer, Rita Moreno and Benicio Del Toro (Puerto Rico), Anthony Quinn (Mexico), plus fellow Spaniard Javier Bardem.^[1]^[2]

Thomas Cruise Mapother IV (pronounced /ˈtɒməs ˈkruːz ˈmeɪpɒθər/; born July 3, 1962), better known by his screen name of Tom Cruise, is an American actor and film producer. Forbes magazine ranked him as the world's most powerful celebrity in 2006.^[1] He has been nominated for three Academy Awards and won three Golden Globe Awards. His first leading role was the 1983 film Risky Business ^[2], which has been described as "A Generation X classic, and a career-maker" for the actor.^[3] After playing the role of a heroic naval pilot in the popular and financially successful 1986 film Top Gun, Cruise continued in this vein, playing a secret agent in a series of Mission: Impossible action films in the 1990s and 2000s. In addition to these heroic roles, he played other parts such as the misogynistic male guru in Magnolia (1999) and a cool and calculating sociopathic hitman in the Michael Mann crime-thriller film Collateral (2004).

In 2005, the Hollywood journalist, Edward Jay Epstein argued that Cruise is one of the few producers (the others being George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Jerry Bruckheimer) who are able to guarantee the success of a billion-dollar movie franchise.^[4] Since 2005, Cruise and Paula Wagner have been in charge of the United Artists film studio,^[5] with Cruise as producer and star and Wagner as the chief executive. Cruise is also known for his controversial support of and adherence to the Church of Scientology.^[6]

How to use this wiki site
You can use this wiki site to share knowledge, brainstorm ideas, collaborate with your team on a design, create an instruction guide, build an encyclopedia of knowledge, or just write down daily information in an easily accessible and modifiable format.

Editing wiki pages
This wiki site provides what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editing. To edit a page, click Edit at the top of the page. You can insert tables and pictures with the click of a button. When you are happy with your changes you can click OK to update the page.

Creating links to pages
You can link to another page in this wiki site by enclosing the name of the page in double brackets on the edit form. For example, type [[Home]] to create a link to the page named Home and [[How to use this wiki site]] to create a link to this page.

To create a link to a page and have the link display different text than the page name, type a pipe character (|) after the page name, and then type the display text. For example, type [[Home|Home Page]] to create the link labeled Home Page that points to the page named Home.

To display double opening or closing brackets without making a link, type a backslash before the two brackets. For example, \[[ or \]].

Creating pages
There are two main ways to create a new page in your wiki site:

Create a forward link to another page and then click on it to create the page:
This is the recommended way to create a page because it is easier for people to find the page when another page links to it.

Forward links to pages that do not exist have a dashed underline. Start by adding the link (follow the Creating links to pages process earlier on this page). Click the link to go to the Create Page form where you can start typing your content.
Create a page that is not linked to any other:
On the Quick Launch, click Wiki Pages. Then, on the New menu, click New Wiki Page. This takes you to the Create Page form where you can start typing your content.

Managing your wiki site
You can manage the pages in your wiki site by clicking Wiki Pages on the Quick Launch. This takes you to the wiki page library where you can manage the pages with all of the functionality of a Windows SharePoint Services document library.

Restoring a page
If you need to restore a previous version of a page, click History at the top of the page. You can then click on any of the dates to view the page as it existed on that date. When you find the version that you want to restore, click Restore this version on the toolbar.

Viewing incoming links
You can see which pages link to the current page by clicking Incoming Links at the top of the page.

Adding a page to the Quick Launch
You can add important pages to the Quick Launch so that users can find them easily.

To add a page to the Quick Launch, first copy the URL of the page from the Address bar in your browser. On the Site Actions menu, click Site Settings and then click Quick Launch. Click New Link, paste the URL into the form, and then click OK.

What is a wiki site?

Wikiwiki means quick in Hawaiian. A wiki site is a Web site in which users can easily edit any page. The site grows organically by linking existing pages together or by creating links to new pages. If a user finds a link to an uncreated page, he or she can follow the link and create the page.

In business environments, a wiki site provides a low-maintenance way to record knowledge. Information that is usually traded in e-mail messages, gleaned from hallway conversations, or written on paper can instead be recorded in a wiki site, in context with similar knowledge.

Other example uses of wiki sites include brainstorming ideas, collaborating on designs, creating an instruction guide, gathering data from the field, tracking call center knowledge, and building an encyclopedia of knowledge.
